Toyota took the bold decision and revamped the look of their next generation Toyota Camry. The 2018 Toyota Camry stunned the crowd with its amazing new look and fascinating new design. Shown at the 2017 Detroit Motor Show, Toyota shocked the crowd when the new Camry made its entrance.

Toyota let go of their old pragmatic design for a better, more aggressive and sportier design. It is much sleeker, the shoulder line, roofline and the hood of the car have been lowered for better aerodynamic design. Other than that, the 2018 Toyota Camry has more to it than just its new design. It packs a punch in the form of performance as well.

The Design of 2018 Toyota Camry

The new design is highlighted by the two piece grille, the grille is bigger and bolder. It makes the sedan look a lot edgier than its previous versions. The curvy hood lies just above the grille. The stance of the car is very aggressive that sets it apart from the previous Camry as well. The profile of the sedan is sleeker without compromising the spaciousness of the car.

The rear and front fenders are very aggressive that also add to the wind-cutting shape of the car. You will find striking lines along the body that make it look sporty. With the new 19 inch black machine finish alloy wheels and a subtle rear spoiler, the 2018 Toyota Camry looks ready to take over the sedan market all over the world.

The interior of the new 2018 Toyota Camry is reminiscent of the quality that you see on the exterior. The new Camry has a driver centric cockpit that is tilted more towards the driver. The whole cabin is covered with soft touch material to make it more luxurious.

Other than that, the interior also features many new technological updates. It will be armed with Toyota’s Human Machine Interface (HMI) that has three different screens. The first one is a 10 inch screen that will present a head up display, the second one is an 8 inch screen that will present navigation and audio controls and the third screen is a 7 inch information display that is placed on the instrument cluster.

Engine and Performance

The 2018 Toyota Camry will be available in three power terrains. These are:

  • 3.5 liter V6 engine with D-4S Fuel Injection system.
  • 2.5 liter V4 engine that is paired to an 8 speed automatic transmission with Direct Shift feature.
  • Toyota Next Generation Hybrid System with a continuously variable transmission.

Toyota has not announced the power output of any of the three engines. However, Toyota does promise that these will bring better performance, which is all thanks to the new suspension. With its new four-point engine mounting system and double wishbone rear suspension setup, the 2018 Toyota Camry will make driving it a more pleasurable experience.

Toyota has not announced a price for their new and better than ever 2018 Toyota Camry. It is expected that the manufacturer will announce a price for the new redesigned sedan when it is closer to its launch date. The 2018 Toyota Camry is all set to be released in late summer this year.
