Truly standing out from the other launches in Dubai this year is the 2014 Lykan HyperSport, which remains the jewel of the Middle-East as it now dubbed the “First Arabian Hypercar”.
And the hypercar tag is no fancy term. The Lykan HyperSport comes with a mid-rear mounted flat-6 engine, supplemented by twin turbos to produce 770 hp and 1000 Nm of torque. It will be coupled with a 6-speed sequential manual or 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Thanks to all that, the Lykan HyperSport will hit 100 kph from a dead standstill in less than 2.8 seconds and maxes out at 395 kph.
Other features include a one-off holographic display with interactive motion and tactile interaction, an advanced ‘ID4Motion’ dashboard and a uniquely developed reverse mechanical doors system. The car also gets diamond and sapphire-encrusted LED lights.
W Motors revealed that the final testing will be held in UAE, which will feature private track days with professional race drivers along with several other regional events.
