UAE is home to the tallest building in the world and now also the most coveted police force in the world. The Dubai police car convoy is getting bigger, faster, and even more outrageously expensive. Apparently a $450,000 Lamborghini Aventador was only the beginning, because the list of on-duty super cars in this millionaires’ has recently grown to include Bentleys, Mercedes and Ferraris.

If you think of trying to overtake the police in Dubai, get ready to receive a 200+mph pass directly to jail. The Dubai police force is adding a magnificent assortment of exotic cars to its fleet, including an Aston Martin that costs approximately $1.4 million. It all started back in March this year, with a Lamborghini. This is the apparent choice if you’re in the market for a most desirable supercar today, so it came usual.
Consequently, the officials announced that they would also include a Ferrari and it wasn’t long until we got to see that they went for something a bit more practical than the Lamborghini going for the four-seat, and just as four-wheel drive Ferrari FF. To make things even more unusual, it was announced that the Ferrari would only be manhandled by women.
After seeing a Lamborghini and a Ferrari dress up in the Police uniform, the news that they were also getting a Bentley Continental GT and a Mercedes-Benz SLS that didn’t astonish anybody. Nevertheless, it was at this point that it became obvious an army was being formed. Since the military were already there, they needed a leader, a car that would cost more than the above mentioned four together. The choice was rather unanticipated, with the Dubai Police welcoming one of the seventy seven units of the Aston Martin costing whopping $ 1.4 million to public exchequer

Speeding is a major problem in Dubai, with the authorities recently announcing that drivers beyond 125 mph will face criminal charges. Nonetheless, the strict law enforcement in Dubai also means that there aren’t too many drivers who would ever think of running away from the police. Most of these vehicles can’t accommodate arrested persons anyway, so their interior will definitely stay in a first-class shape. While there have also been negative reactions, with fingers pointed at the lavishness, the Dubai Police definitely gained international popularity thanks to its multimillion acquisitions.
As for the future of the Police supercar fleet, we really can’t tell if this is dazzling or not. You see, Dubai also has a murky side, which includes thriving projects whose enthusiasts was cut out completely by the global slump and or lack of demand. Some of these big investments are now abandoned, having been put on hold indefinitely. Sure, you can always sell the cars, so the story here is different, as that would still mean disassembling the fleet.
