The French new car market is stable year-on-year over the first 12 days of December, and compared to our last weekly update the Top 7 best-selling models are unchanged. This means the Renault Clio IV keeps the lead thanks to 2,772 units sold, and is followed by the Citroen C3 and Peugeot 208 while Volkswagen manages to place two models inside the Top 5, something no other brand in the French car market has done so far this month, including the 3 French! The Polo ranks 4th with 2,042 sales while the Golf VII is 5th at 1,838 units. The Peugeot 2008 (#7) is ahead of its archenemy the Renault Captur, now inside the Top 10 at #9.
