In business, for any lucrative product making a lot of profits to the manufacturer, there are some people that try to forge that same product to also gain from the profits. There are many car maker companies that have sprung up producing a vast number of different car models to be sold on the car market today, though these cars also need spare parts in case the original parts get spoilt. People have used that window of opportunity to create counterfeit auto spare parts. An example has been in Ajman, police seized over 121000 fake spare parts valued in millions of dirhams which where all presented as products of global trademarks.

Police raided the warehouse in Al Jurf area where a large quantity of fake auto spare parts were found and tested to verify that they are counterfeit yet they were going to be soon transported to market for consumers to buy. Car spare parts are usually bought by people who buy used cars from the Used-Car-Market in order to make them look nicer and attractive. These fake parts include 69000 parts from Toyota vehicles, 34000 parts for Honda vehicles as well as 18000 parts for Isuzu. The Asians connected to fake auto parts were arrested and led the police a warehouse where they kept them though they were transferred to public prosecution for further action.

The police will take strict measures to protect to protect the emirate’s market from counterfeit auto parts and added such acts aim to achieve profits at the expense of people’s safety. And they further say that fake parts can lead to accidents that can claim people’s lives. Imagine a scenario where a fake car tyre is put on a car that is on a high speed and due to the high friction the car tyre busts. This can make a catastrophic accident on the road claiming people’s lives.
