Toyota recently announced the launch of a bunch of interactive services for receiving information using smart phones mobile applications in the Middle East and they called it (T-connect). By launching these services, Toyota aims at promoting its pioneer position and its future vision for fulfilling their customers’ needs, as a pioneer trade mark in the innovation field.
These services will be available through mobile phone application to all drivers for providing navigation services plus the ability to reach other useful information and benefiting from the services offered by customer service call center during driving on the road.
Customers can also benefit from the service through an interactive touch screen that is implemented in all Toyota cars, it also worth mentioning that the Middle East region will be the third region of the world where Toyota will launch this service, after Japan and Thailand.
Among the efforts Toyota make for providing special experience to the customers, the new service will offer unique benefits as the 24 hours call center that is available around the years, also the ability to choose from 5 different routes for all destinations with an option for tracking the route on hard terrains.
This information service will be available for Toyota new customers through smart phones without any charges for 1 year, and the customers who already own Toyota cars prior than the 2014 models will be able to use the service by using mobile applications running “IOS” or “Android” operating systems by paying a fee for the service.
The navigation system offered through these services is characterized by the ability to view directions on screen with clear voice directions in Arabic and English giving drivers alternative routes to their destinations. Drivers will need only 3 clicks to activate the service, as the first will initiate the connection to the customer service centers, and the second will view the message and directions received from the customer service center, and the third will allow getting directions related to the route. Five routes will be provided for each destination: the shortest route to the destination, the best route, the main route, free of duty route, plus another alternative route.
It should be noted that the service will be available in Arabic and English which will be suitable for all customers as it will give them peace of mind as they will be assured that there is someone taking care of the road for them and giving them detailed directions on the best way to get to their destination every step of the way.
Toyota also provided some exclusive features for its Middle East customers by providing services related to the Middle East, one of which is the ability to track the route on hard and desert terrains where no official roads can be found.
