The leadership of the UAE continues with the graduation of inept officials and volunteers in the motorsport by announcing the winning of the Emirati volunteer “Heba Bahaj” with the best volunteer award for 2013 where the award presented by the FIA which is the international committee that oversees the motor sport around the world. This is the third year in a row that this prize goes to an Emiratis volunteer or residents of the United Arab Emirates, and the second year that Emirati national wins the award, and the first time that a woman wins this prize at a global level.
The His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan – Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Chairman of the General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare has congratulated the Emirati citizenship “Heba” for her outstanding accomplish when he greeted her with Dr. Mohammed Ben Sulayem , Vice President of the International Automobile Federation and president of Emirates Motor club.
Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan praised this great achievement where he said: “This is an achievement that we are very proud of it in the country and in the world of UAE motorsport. The cars club of the UAE did a great job in the recruitment of Emiratis volunteers and the good training that the club provided to the volunteers which it is very proud to see our volunteers and our officials in the lead and be a role model for other Emiratis and non- Emiratis”. He said: “the achievement of “Heba” is based in the first place for the wise policy and prudent of the top leaders in the country who give an example for the residents of the country in the high ambitious and hard work in order to achieve the goals and their great support for the citizens of the country and pave the way for them and provide the means of success for them”.
Mohammed bin Sulayem commented on the achievement of Heba where he said: “Heba is one of the unique members of the growing Emirates volunteers’ team in the UAE who have a large and vital role in regulating the activities of motor sport in the country and ensure the correct operations all the time”. Also, he said: “Heba is an example of the spirit of the Emirati volunteers’ team where the team includes many of the citizens, all of whom are working in harmony and consistency with others throughout the year to ensure the safety and success of the events”.
