Sale of the Lexus LS Series Halted

Renowned Japanese auto maker, reaching into the high echelons of the industry, has brought the sale of its flagship sedan the Lexus LS Series to a standstill. The reason given by the manufacturer for this is that there are some problems that have been discovered by the engineers and as such need time to be put right.

A close car evaluation by the professionals at the company discovered that the problem lies in the steering wheel whereby there are some defects in the computer processor that runs this part of the automobile. This latest hit in the hitherto immaculate façade of Toyota has caused the company to recall some units that had already gotten into the hands of the consumers in the car market. The company has called back 3,800 units of the 2009 and 2010 model year LS 460 as well as LS 600h sedans in the United States alone.

Toyota has been trying to execute the remedy of this problem in a timely manner before doubts creep into the minds of its loyal customer base and they start asking themselves, “What is my car worth?” In another unrelated instance where the response time was slow, the company was fined a hefty $16.4 million by the US safety regulatory authorities.
