You wait and wait till you by a car and you feel that your dram has come true. Then you start to worry about something else. The roads of Dubai are very wide and fast and sometimes it’s not easy to handle some annoying drivers there. Sometimes we have these moments when you want to be a bit adventurous and you go out to live the experience in the roads of Dubai, which is not an easy experience at all especially with some erratic drivers.   • keep a safe distance

It’s important to keep a distance between your car and the car in front of you. It can be about three seconds. Even if the other cars aren’t applying this rule, don’t try to join them. Sometimes other drivers try to sneak in this space, it’s better for you in this case to rake a safe space back again.

  • Being visible:

Make sure you’re visible to other cars especially at night. If your windows are dark it will be harder for other cars to see you at night. Even if you can see the road, don’t turn off the headlight of the car, because these lights are not for you, they are for the other drivers to see your car.

  • Responding to headlight flashing:

Headlight flashing is a way used to show the driver in front of you that I need you to move out of my way. Sometimes the police or people in urgent situations.

To avoid this, you can keep driving in the safe lane as much as you can and always keep an eye on the rear mirror and move away when needed. Sometimes you find no way to move over, then it’s important to stay calm and wait for a good chance to do so.

  • Stay away from trucks:

Trucks are huge vehicles which makes it hard for their drivers to see you when driving in front of them immediately or alongside them. Trucks stop very quickly and their drivers are tired most of the time because of the hard work and long driving hours so you need to be careful of them.
