RTA to Offer 250 Special Number Plates at its 53rd Online Auction

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai is all set to offer 250 special number plates at its upcoming 53^rd Online Auction. The schedule for the upcoming online number plate auction has been announced by RTA and according to the announcement, the auction will be held on June 10, 2018. The registration process has already started from Sunday, June 03, 2018 and number plate enthusiasts in Dubai can register through various channels to get an opportunity to bid for their favorite number plate at the 53^rd Online Auction by RTA.

Both the open and online number plate events have enjoyed great success in Dubai over the last few years and while RTA conducted its 99^th Open Auction last month, the stage is now set for another online auction in the month of June, much to the delight of the number plate enthusiasts in Dubai.

The Lineup of Number Plates to be offered at the 53^rd Online Auction by RTA

They can register by logging on to RTA’s website www.rta.ae or by visiting a nearby RTA Customer Happiness Centre to get the assistance for taking part in the 53^rd Online Auction by RTA.

Here are the things to know if you are looking to take part in RTA’s 53^rd Online Auction:

• To participate in the upcoming online number plate auction event, an interested bidder must have a Dubai registered vehicle or should have a Dubai-based driving license.
• The participation fee of AED 120 and a security deposit of AED 5,000 need to be paid by interest bidders to register for the upcoming online auction. This amount can be paid through a cheque or credit card.
• If none of the bids remains successful, the security deposit will be refunded to the participant.
• Successful bidders must make the payments against the number plates within 10 days of the end of the event. If they fail to do so, their bids will be cancelled and their name will be blacklisted by the authorities.
