Exotic and exclusive cars have a car rating that’s off the charts due to their limited availability; playing on that inner human instinct of selfishness. The manufacturers of these kinds of automobiles do not churn out new models every passing time but rather let the anticipation build over a large stretch of time.

The folks over at Bugatti for example have only released one model in a decade. They however do not sit back and wait for another 10 years to scoot by, twiddling their thumbs, but rather are assessing car value and finding ways of hiking it.

One sure fire way of doing so is by introducing to the car market special editions at auto shows. These special editions are more or less the same as the original model with the difference being the name. Rolls Royce is no stranger to this tactic and has used it to great effect. A special edition of its Wraith model was shown at the New York Auto Show and was dubbed the Rolls Royce Wraith Inspired by Film.

The name celebrates the induction of And the World Stood Still into the British Film Institute’s National Archive. The Wraith was launched in this motion picture.
