The media awareness campaign will be launched ahead of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix that will begin on November 1.
The Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters on Sunday announced a media awareness campaign called “The road has its ethics and speed has its track”.
The campaign will be launched ahead of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix that will begin on November 1.
“The media awareness campaign is conducted by the Security Media Department of the General Secretariat of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. There will be advanced concepts for police interaction with society members,” said Major-General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director-General of Police Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police.
He further added there will also be a FanZone exhibition on the Abu Dhabi Corniche and people can watch an educational patrol display and attend an auto simulation show, which introduces visitors to safe driving methods.
Maj-Gen Al Menhali stressed on the continued commitment of the Abu Dhabi Police to communicate with other authorities and institutions. He also said the campaign reveals the interest of the Abu Dhabi Police to keep pace with development, interact with audiences, invest in public events to communicate with all community members, encourage drivers to respect traffic and patrolling regulations, and spread awareness about safe driving.
