In Dubai, where some people are stuck in used car purchase, some others are obsessed with including all the newest car models in their car collection. No matter what category of a car buyer you are, there is news that will gain your attention for sure. Well, this one is about the Viper SRT that has been brought forth by Chrysler. The base model of the car is available at the price range of $97,395. Chrysler made its first appearance in the New York Auto Show for the last year’s spring season. Speaking about the TA model, it is being said that its 93 track-ready models will be painted in “TA Orange” paint that has been shown in the right hand side image. Apart from the Orange color models, other 33 Venom Black and 33 Bright White color models are also to be manufactured. As per the comments of Ralph Gilles, SRT President and CEO, “We’re shifting to more pre-packaged models like the TA.” These are his wordings when he was interviewed by a well-known automobile related website.

As the rumors of the launch of this car are getting viral in the market, other hearsays that are being heard are that the Company is planning to revise the production strategy so that it can target specific niche markets for the car. On this, Gilles has admitted that the launch ceremony of the Viper has so far been slower than the plan. He said this on the basis of the comparisons made with the last year’s production. Gilles added that, “There are literally thousands of potential buyers who might want a pre-packaged Viper that simplifies the sometimes complex task of trying to spec out the supercar with all the available options.”

As noted a Chrysler release on the limited-edition model, “The new 2014 SRT Viper TA is engineered for the serious performance enthusiast who needs a car that can be driven daily yet has mind-boggling limits on a road course that would rival many track-only cars. As one of the best handling and fastest super cars available on the market today, the TA enables our customers to take their passion for high performance driving to the next level.”

The car is based on the lightest and the sportiest version of the Viper. It is estimated that the car will weigh around 3,390 pounds.  Alongside, it will be equipped with a mid-front V-10 overhead-valve, stock all-aluminum 8.4-liter engine that will be capable of producing torque of 600 lb.-ft. at 640 horsepower. The aero kit of the car includes rear spoiler and carbon fiber front splitters to boost down force at higher speeds. Apart from that, a lightweight carbon fiber structural X-brace has been used instead of standard aluminum brace under the hood. This brace ties all the four corners of the engine compartment and enhance the torsional rigidity. Furthermore, the standard Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires are bundled on the multi-spoke, ultra-lightweight Sidewinder II wheels. And, the brake calipers have a black anodized finish with the Viper logo shown in Orange color.
