Following month these high end brands, Dodge and Mercedes Benz announced a recall correlated to faulty airbags; whereas,McLaren announced a recall for congestion in windshield wipers.
McLaren is produced under the British based automobile maker and default was found in its most anticipated super-car McLaren 12C spider due to its defective design of wiper.
The Safety Administration of the National Highway reveals that the risk is high of McLaren gets crushed as the wipers can jam in the tepid and humid atmosphere. There is a possibility of a collision during raining season too. If it rains heavily and wipers can get jammed as it causes jamming of motor brushes. There are high chances of a driver losing control due to condensed visibility. It is also revealed that the car was sold in its original state across the U.S and the vehicle is mostly registered in states like Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Texas. This recalls puts around 376 Units in question.
The official announcement of exact date is still due from the renowned brand but it is hypothesized that the McLaren 12C Spider which were produced between October 2011 and October 2013 will have a replaced windshield wipers. The British based Company intends to send notification to the owners of McLaren for the replacement of windshields at no additional cost and also intends to offer a lifetime warranty on the car wipers.
