Amarok Canyon, Volkswagen’s new machine, which was officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor show ceremony in 2012 and then the impulsive Amarok Canyon again displayed at the Hanover Motor show later in 2012 has again hogged limelight. Reason? Well, the announcement which came as a surprise when Volkwagen introduced a new ambassador Felix Baumgartner for the Amarok Canyon.
Felix Baumgartner who is an Australian based sports personality and the man who survived a deadly jump is honored and has joined the Volkswagen team as an ambassador for this new vehicle. This is not the first time Volkswagen has chosen a diverse personality, in recent times Hannah Whiteley has also been roped in to promote the special new edition of Volkswagen Amarok, is a freestyle kite-surfing Champ. Another renonwed sports personality hired by Volkswagen for the Amarok is Thomas Litscher who is also promoting this versatile motor machine.
The Volkswagen Amarok canyon machine is built on the trendline, the versatile machine has tinted tail-lights and head-lights, 17” wheels, a roll bar, seatings in partial leather, auxiliary lamps. The cabin interiors has beautiful contrast stitching and the exteriors has chrome accents. This car is manufactured in two two diesel engines. This exquisite Volkswagen Amarok Canyon is available with a 6-speed manual transmission, a fixed 4 wheel drive system and on demand it can also be painted in special color “Cooper Orange”.
