It is not at all a new thing. In fact, from past many years, we have seen that most of the car manufacturing brands use different promotional tactics to improve their vehicle sale. Similar is another story that is catching attention of the viewers these days. Well, the report is about BMW. The brand has made a new video in which it has teased the M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe brands that are due to be unveiled in the coming years. Earlier, the news about the release of both these models was causing lot of excitement and craze amongst BMW users from around the globe. Now, as the company has released a teaser video itself, the viewers, waiting for the launch have got even more excited. It is a 26 seconds video that showcases the highlights of M3 and M4.
The brand has yet revealed a video, but it will be unveiling it online in few coming weeks. Alongside, it is also being said that the M3 and M4 will publicly be debuted at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. Speaking about the video, it can be said that in the teaser, the Company has kept everything in a quite mysterious way. But, thankfully, a few critics know about the car’s outlook and specifications because its concept model was shown at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance at the beginning of this year. Speculations are that the new M3 will be an enhanced version of 3 Series Sedan. It will be a two-door model. And, 4 Series will actually be the 3 Series coupe (or convertible). Out of both these, the former M3 coupe will be called M4 from now onward.
Apart from this, it is being said that both these cars will be bundled with improved versions of the bodywork of the base models. Other than just working on the body work, the Company will also be working on improving the front and rear fascias, wheels and hoods. Other than these, a few carbon fiber parts will also be thrown into the mix. As far as the engine is considered, it is being said that the cars will have a direct-injected, twin-turbocharged inline-six. Well, the engine specifications are lesser than the current V8, but BMW has said that the new engine will instead be more efficient and powerful than ever before. Another commitment made about the weights of the car is that both these vehicles will be lighter than their predecessors. Hence, they will be able to make the most of the extra power. M3 and M4 will be equipped with a collection of hardware and electronic driver aids that will include Adaptive M Suspension, Active M Differential and different modes for electronic power steering.
