The Mercedes Benz E-Class 2015 is a true definition of a solid car with a perfect display of luxury and quality. Its selling point is however not so much on being flashy but on safety and technology, making it one of the top choices in the mid-size luxury vehicles for buyers whose car assessment strong points are hedged on safety. The new release displays the conservative but sleek style in a sedan, coupe, convertible and wagon with a varied range of engine choices. This year, Mercedes Benz have added a new model E400 which is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 and replaces the E550 V8-powered sedan. The E400 Coupe and E400 Cabriolet will replace the 2014 E350 models and are expected to do well in car sale circles.
The E-Class options
The 2015 E-Class offers a range of seven engine variations with each offering a specific edge in performance. The E250 comes with a 2.1-liter 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 195 horsepower, followed by the E400 Hybrid Model with a 3.5-liter V6 engine with an electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery. New in the list is the E400 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 329 horse-power and above it is the E550 with a 4.7-liter V8 producing 402 horsepower. Top of the range is the E63 AMG and the E63 AMG S-Model producing 531 and 577 horsepower respectively and apart from the 7-speed automatic gearbox that is standard in the E-Class, the AMG comes with multi-clutch unit.
With several packaged optional equipment, you can customize the E-Class to get several special comforts. The Driver assist package incorporates adaptive cruise control, lane-assist and active blind spot while the premium package offers a rearview camera, satellite radio, navigation and surround sound system. There are also several stand-alone options including surround view camera, side airbags and keyless entry among others.
Price range of the Mercedes Benz E-Class
Starting from AED 199,000 in the Dubai Car Market to an upper range of AED 340,000 for the top models, the E-Class is a good choice in the luxury class and is perfectly suitable for someone who is not looking to change their car every two years.
