Preparations for launching the new Lincoln MKZ in the Middle East for the first time among the activities of “Gitx Technology Week 2013”
During its participation in “Gitx Technology Week 2013”, Lincoln, the luxurious cars maker trade name, is planning to show recent technological features the company provides for its customers. This technology show is considered the top technological show in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia and Lincoln is using this opportunity to show some of the exclusive technological features it provides in the medium sized luxurious cars sector, technologies that are implemented for the first time on the MKZ model, the official Exhibit car this year, and also the first car to be produced by Lincoln design studio.
In this context, Paul Anderson, Marketing manager at Ford Middle East said “We have made radical changes on the Lincoln trade mark on all levels, on the extraordinary completely new models, on the technological and functional side, and also on the perfect combination of the sports handling combined with comfort when driving on the road. This new virtual driving experience is considered one of a kind in the technology field. It all starts when the person chooses the city he/she would like to cruise around and as soon as he gets into the car, many simultaneously working screens show up to give the driver a unique feeling of the car movement. The virtual driver will act as a tour guide through this ride and it will explain various features by viewing multimedia objects on the screen.
Nowadays, Lincoln models are considered symbols for luxury and enhanced technologies and those new technological features will be the focus of Lincoln during “Gitx Technology Week 2013” and among the special technological features found in MKZ model:

Other technological features found in MKZ model are active parking system, adaptive automatic speed control (where the system preserves the space between cars as the speed control is active), blind spot information system, and traffic alert system.
