A road construction project to ease congestion around Jumeirah Lakes Towers in Dubai will be finished by year’s end, the Roads and Transport Authority has said.

The third phase of the parallel roads project, which cost Dh450 million, is 75 per cent complete.

“The project ranks among the biggest undertaken by the RTA and is capable of improving and streamlining the traffic flow,” said Mattar Al Tayer, the chairman of the board and executive director of RTA.

Once complete the roads will improve access to Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed roads.
