According to its creator Majid Al Attar the new Devel Sixteen is created with the passion of making this car a legend in the history of super cars.The Sixteen gets a sixteen-cylinder engine that, according to the specifications listed in Dubai, delivers a total of 5,000 horsepower; it’s a five with three zeros. With this incredible amount of power, Devel estimates to hit 60 mph in just 1.8 seconds and go up to a top speed of 560 km/h (347 mph). If the Devel Sixteen ever hits the market, then it will easily become the fastest production car in the world. The new Sixteen is rumored to come with a price of $1 million, and three customers have already placed orders.
When the 5000 hp Devel Sixteen was unveiled to stunned attendants at theDubai Motor Show 2013, everyone was understandably blown away. Not only by the futuristic Lamborghini inspired styling, but also because of the claimed performance figures. Developing tires to survive such insane speeds would likely cost more than the entire project.

The tires that are on the Bugatti are the main reason that this car is electronically limited and can’t go faster. The rubber would simply shred. A known fact about Bugatti’s specially engineered Michelin tires is that they would technically last 15 minutes at 250 mph and cost more than $40,000 .Just building a 5,000-horsepower car isn’t impossible; many drag race cars exceed that figure. But those drag cars only do it for a handful of seconds between rebuilds.
Nevertheless, from a visual standpoint, the Devel Sixteen is certainly very eye-catching. Obviously inspired by designs such as the Lamborghini Veneno, Lamborghini Egoista and Pagani Zonda it definitely looks like no other supercar on the market.
