2015 Honda Accord is a super pleasing blend of entertained driving dynamics and a spacious interior, this keeps it at the top of the market.  It comes as either a sedan or a coupe, the Accord offers either a 185 hp 2.4,liter four cylinder or a 278hp 3.5 liter V-6. A six-speed automatic or CVT are available, however the smooth six-speed manual is joyful to drive. The hybrid model boasts an arrogant 50-mpg city rating, a plug-in hybrid is also available (in limited markets only).

What’s New for 2015?

The Accord 2015 has undergone a full redesign for the 2013 year model. With some minor changes from that major update 2 years ago. It is a little smaller but a lot sleeker, packed with the kind of smooth cutting edge features that used to be Honda’s hallmark.

It has a newly standard LaneWatch camera on EX coupe models, a standard universal remote in the Accord EX-L and an auto-dimming mirror in the Accord EX-L coupe.

Fuel Economy

The Accord starts with a 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder that makes 185 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. The Sport sedan squeezes a little more power out of the same engine: 189 hp and 182 lb-ft of torque. Although a 6-speed manual transmission is offered for the first time with this engine, most Accords will have the gearless CVT. Honda also offers Accord Hybrid for those who are interested in gas mileage.

Behind the Wheel

This model witnessed some improvements over its predecessors, the ride now is actually smoother and quieter. The brakes remain average though.

Internal Features

Once you step in the new Accord you immediately can feel an upscale vibe that didn’t exist in previous models . The materials seem nicer in the current model, and there’s no doubt that the standard 8 inch i-MID display adds a touch of high-tech classiness.

Keeping the high technology aside, the Accord has a super user friendly interface for the majority of its controls. For example, the front seats are highly supportive and firm, and the rear passengers legroom is now more spacious by around an inch.

The estimated price of Honda Accord 2015 in the United Arab Emirates is around 90,000 Dhs.
