Why the RTA’s Special Number Plates Auction is such a Popular Event in Dubai?
RTA has been conducting its special number plate’s auction on a regular basis to offer number plate enthusiasts a delightful opportunity to buy exclusive registration numbers, which add a luxury appeal to their vehicles. Single-digit number plates are typically the most highly contested number plates at such events and have drawn the highest bids in the history of RTA auctions so far.
RTA launched its first single-digit number plate in November 2016 and a Dubai-based Indian Businessman purchased it at a whopping price of AED 33 million. RTA again offered another single digit number Q2 in December 2016 which remained unsold because of its too high base price.
