Motorists in Abu Dhabi can benefit from a significant discount offer to get rid of their traffic fines. Motorists can avail a discount of 50% on their fines issued before December 22, 2019. However, this offer can only be availed if the fines are paid within three months of their issuance date. This offer also includes the removal of vehicle impoundment fees and cancellation of black points.
There is another discount offer that motorists with outstanding fines can avail in Abu Dhabi. Motorists can get a 35% discount if the fines are paid within 60 days from the date when the violation was registered.
Dubai
Motorists in Dubai were offered a significant discount offer in February last year and the discount offer is still valid. Motorists who don’t commit a traffic violation for three months can avail a discount offer of 25% and it doubles to 50% if they don’t commit a traffic violation for six months.
If motorists avoid traffic violations for nine months, they can be entitled to have a discount of 75% on their pending fines. Motorists can also get 100% discount on their traffic fines if they don’t commit a traffic violation for one year.
Ajman
In Ajman, the recently introduced 50% discount offer on traffic fines has been extended for one more month. The offer is set to be extended from February 16, 2020 and will remain valid for one month. Under this offer, motorists will be able to avail a 50% discount on their fines issued before January 31, 2020. The black points and vehicle confiscation fines will also be cancelled if motorists pay their fines under this offer.
