The Ford Taurus 2013 Taurus is a beautiful and powerful car from Ford Motor Company where it is a mid-sized car and it is one of the strongest groups of cars that compete in the U.S. market plus the Middle East markets, particularly in the markets of the Gulf Cooperation Council “GCC”.
Ford Taurus 2013 engines:
First engine: It is an advanced Eco Post engine and it made of aluminum and it consists of four cylinders, each cylinder consists of four valves with a capacity of two liters. This engine is provided by two turbo chargers which upgrading the engine to up to 237 horsepower generated with full confidence at 5500 rpm with a torque of 340 Newton/meters where its maximum speed is between 1750 rpm and 4000 rpm and this is a little rounds number that gives more flexibility for the engine. This engine is based on the continuous feed of fuel through direct injection system.
Second engine: It will be an alternative to the Duratec six-cylinder copy adopted in the current model with 263 horsepower where the new version will be Ti-VCT and consists of six-cylinder with a “V” shape. The engine capacity is 3.5 liters and despite that it has the same capacity of the Duratec engine, this engine has elevated with mechanical force to reach 290 horsepower with the ability to generate torque up to 346 Nm at 4000 rpm. Despite the increase in power and torque, the engine keeps balanced ratios of fuel consumption.
Third engine (SHO Sport model): This engine will depend on the six-cylinder Eco Post engine with a capacity of 3.6 liters which is supplied by dual charger and this engine can generate power up to 365 horsepower at 5500 rpm. Also, this engine is able to generate torque up to 474 Nm.
The exterior design of Ford Taurus 2013:
The exterior has been redesigned completely where this car has a new front grille and a network cooler with lower grille which is morphologically consistent with the radiator grille as well as the hood where it becomes macho more clearly. The side shape has the same basic features where the rear has changed very much and moved to a new level thanks to the new design of the rear lights which has become now rely on technical lighting “LED” as well as the use of new frames design with 19-inch or 20-inch comes as an optional.
