Recently, the American University in the United Arab Emirates launched a new exhibition for cars in the county which is the fourth exhibition for the equipped and customized cars. This amazing exhibition was organized under the auspices of Dr. Mohammed Ahmed bin Sulayem who is the president of the UAE’s Automobile and Touring club and vice president of the International Automobile Federation in addition to the presence of Muthana Gany Abd El-Razak who is the president of the American University in the United Arab Emirates.
As usual, the university is very keen to launch such exhibitions for the students continuously in order to encourage and develop students’ abilities and awareness of the safe driving skills. The event saw the presence of about 100 cars, including the participation from the university’s students which were represented in four categories which are luxury cars and classic cars in addition to the best design cars and the fourth category is the modified and equipped cars. This event included participation from outside the university by some cars’ companies such as the Canadian Automobile and Polaris companies.
In this context, Mohammed Saleh Bin Badawah Al-Darmaki who is the chairman of the trustees board in the American University at the United Arab Emirates said: “the American University in United Arab Emirates is not a place for study only but the most appropriate place for developing the capabilities of the students and the road to success in all scientific and practical areas of life which encourages us more to put up and organizing events and activities more than any other place that contribute to the advancement and of excellence of the university locally and globally”.
Also, the university conducted a competition among the participating students for the best and most beautiful design in their cars. The authorized committee distributed some cash prizes to the winners in this event where the prices’ value reached to 60 thousand dirham. The committee selected three winners for each category of the four cars involved in the show this year. This event is one among many other terrific exhibitions related to cars in the United Arab Emirates where the country has a very unique position in the automotives market locally and globally as well. These various events prove that this country has a lot of potentials and capabilities in addition to the great future in this huge area.
