Emirates Driving Company announces the resignation of its CEO

The Emirates Driving Company which is specialized in learning the driving techniques and skills in addition to many other helpful education in this area announced for the resignation of its Executive Director who is Craig Shirin and he is an Australian where he no longer works at the company as executive director beginning from January 2, 2014. The company explained in a statement on the “Abu Dhabi Securities Market” that it has appointed Abdullah Al Amiri as a chief executive director for the Emirates Driving Company beginning from December 31 last year. The statement mentioned that the company appointed Khalid Khalifa Al Mansouri as a vice president for the company’s CEO beginning from January 2, 2014 where the company’s owners hope that these changes will not affect the progress of the company and the new CEO will continue the amazing and unique efforts and events conducted by the company in order to improve its rank in the United Arab Emirates as the best company in this important field.

The Emirates Driving Company was founded in 2000 year as a national contribution company where the Abu Dhabi government owns part of it. The government of United Arab Emirates built this company as a new solution to reduce the number of traffic accidents and raise the efficiency of training in addition to develop and increase the driving skills of drivers in the United Arab Emirates because this subject is very important due to the increasing number of accidents on the roads according to many reports issued recently. The company implements the highest standards of driving on the road in order to teach the drivers how to drive safely on any road.

The company has made an agreement and cooperation with the Swedish National Commission for Road Consulting which is called “SweRoad” in the field of traffic safety services and driving training in order to build a huge foundation for an innovative and advanced educational system to teach driving in the country. The company has developed a quality system and earned a certification of international specifications and standards “ISO 9001-2008” in 2007 where the company renewed this certificate in 2010. This certificate is very important for the company because it proves that it works with the international standards and specifications of driving where the certificate’s field was in traffic safety and training services of driving techniques.
