Dubai Police Monitoring Speed with 52 New Radars

Dubai police is trying to reduce speed accidents by installing 52 new radars to monitor vehicle’s speeds and other violations on the roads of Dubai . These 52 radars will be installed starting Sun May 3rd to reach 92 radars in total across Dubai in the coming few days.

Where the main purpose of these completely new hi-tech devices is to detect speedsters, these radars can also check other traffic violations as well. The new radars  will be installed on Sheikh Zayed Road to replace old ones, and on outer roads along Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road. It will soon be installed on intersections to check hard shoulders.

Right now Dubai traffic police is preparing 8 new radars to spot hard shoulder violations, the plan is to install them on  Dubai-Al Ain Road,Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Al Habab Road  and Sheikh Zayed Road.
