Chevrolet Tahoe 2015 Review

Driving the new 2015 Chevy Tahoe is a bit like driving a shipping container! If you’d never driven a Chevy Tahoe, you might be shocked by its gigantic size and 5756 pounds weight. Shipping containers are spacious and useful, though, and so is the new Tahoe.

If there is anything special about this new 2015 Tahoe, it would be the extra room space, front-seat space is improved over the old model. Headroom is up over an inch and a half, so there’s now plenty of air, even if you opt for the sunroof. A 4.2-inch digital display is placed between the instruments  to show trip-computer and infotainment data, adjust vehicle settings, or display speed.

Interior:

As for the  116.0-inch wheelbase it remains the same as the past generation, with no space difference to the  rear-seat legroom. However, once you are in the front seat…hello space! the back-rest for the front seat is designed in a way to provide more knee-room. The  rear-seat occupants will notice that the door openings are larger. Way back in the third row, not much has changed from the last Tahoe. So the SUV still has the high floor necessary to clear space for the solid rear axle, not your legs. The third-row bench has a fixed seat back angle that is not really comfy for adults. It is equipped with a power auto-folding third row and flip-and-fold second-row captain’s chairs, and these are definitely nice features to have. The cargo floor is high, a result of tucking the spare tire underneath the Tahoe.

Chevy claims its revised V-8 will operate in four-cylinder mode more often than before,. The EPA fuel-economy estimates come in at 16 mpg city and 22 highway for four-wheel-drive versions; the rear-drivers get the same city mileage and one additional mpg on the highway.

For the first time in the Tahoe’s history, the front doors aren’t shared with the Silverado’s, this allowed designers to create a more distinctive look for the SUV. Hence, the new doors tuck tight into the body, they’re triple sealed for noise suppression, and the windows have a lamination layer to further cut down on noise. Tire and road noise are distant.

Exterior:

The Exterior styling is completely new Right angles define the greenhouse and give the Tahoe an expensive sharply tailored look. A sharp bone-line crease runs the length of the Tahoe from the front fender to the taillights.

The Tahoe doesn’t just look expensive.  The price of a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe begins at around 160,000 Dhs. No wonder that this car is the golden mine for chevy.
