Used car purchase usually vie for whichever ranks as the best-selling car. Updates from the Gulf region shows that Toyota Hilux ranks number one so far with 48,808 sales and 38.9% share in June and 310,761 with more or less 40% year-to-date. The Gulf region composes Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Oman. These are the states bordering the Persian Gulf with a council known as The Gulf Cooperation Council.

The Toyota Hilux is described as a series of dense pickup trucks. This is produced and marketed by the Toyota, a Japanese manufacturer. This used car has been given names like Truck, Pickup Truck or Compact Truck though almost all countries prefer to use the Hilux name for the overall life of the series.

Toyota is closely followed by Hyundai at 13.7% in both rankings and Nissan at 9%. Ford has a 5.9% share vs 4.9% year-to-date and ranks number 4. Kia has 5.1% while Chevrolet is still on the same sixth rank with 4.3% and GMC make it into the Top 10 at 2.1% share. Number 11 is Lexus, followed by BMW at rank 12 while Audi ranks number 18. It’s amazing how alive the Used Car Advertising market is even today.

With 9,281 sales, Toyota Hilux considering its model got a close 7.4% share. What is remarkable is the coming of the Hyundai Elantra that ranks second in the over-all and the first place among passenger cars. It has 6,510 units with corresponding 5.2% share which goes up from number 5 year-to-date with a higher percentage point above its 2013 share.

Toyota Corolla occupies the third place with a total 6,452 sales and 5.1% share while Toyota Prado is still at number 4 with 4.5% share. The Toyota Camry goes up to number 5 considering the not so good month for the Land Cruiser.

Still there are other best-selling cars in the market which remarkably made a significant spot with the increase in rank in Used Car Advertising. These include the Ford Expedition from number 21 to number 12, Toyota Sequoia from number 34 to number 20, Ford Taurus is also worth noting from number 31 to number 21. Worth mentioning also are the Ford F-series from number 55 to number 31, Mazda6 from number 59 to number 40, Jeep Grand Cherokee from number 61 to number 44 and not forgetting the BMW X5 which breaks the 50th rank from number 70 in as far as this year is concerned.

Hyundai Elantra is a solid car produced by Hyundai since 1990 (which is a South Korean manufacturer) and is now in its fifth generation of existence. In Australia and some European markets, the Elantra was formerly promoted as the Lantra. The Elantra name has been given as an order due to the disagreement from other motor manufacturers so to avoid confusion; the name has been used now.

This year 2013, marks a new car founded on the sedan design of the Elantra which will smash the market. It will be a more sophisticated design and style than the Elantra sedan. In fact, it is often featured as one of the top choices in Used Car companies.

After knowing the best –selling cars available in the car market, which would you rather want to have for a joyous ride? It is not much of a competition but rather choose according to the comfort and style that suits your taste and preferences.
