The speeding violations grow in the UAE during 2013

The traffic management authority in the UAE announced for the statistics of speeding violations during the year of 2013 which showed a high rate of irregularities by about 11.4 % compared to the year of 2012 where the number of irregularities for exceeding the speed limit during the year of 2013 in the United Arab Emirates reached to about 5,492,475 violation tickets and when we return to the year of 2012, we will find that the number of speed violations was 4,865,386 violation tickets. According to the traffic department in the United Arab Emirates, the administrationhas intensified its efforts during the year of 2013 to adjust the speeding violations by increasing the number of radars to monitor the speeding cars on the roads.

The speeding violations are from the most serious traffic violations which they are leading to cause many accidents according to the modern statistics because it is obvious that the higher speedsmake the possibility of traffic accidents very high where the stopping distance and time are increasing which could lead to a crash. We wish that everyone controls the speed on the road and follows the prescribed speed always where these speeds’ limits are there only to protect you and your family from any dangerous accident.

According to the statistics this year, the violations that exceeded the speed limit of no more than 10 km per hourhave occupiedthe first place by a rising ratereached to 35% where the violations reached to 581,943 violations while the number of violations during 2012 was about 375,408 violations. The violations that exceeded the speed limit of no more than 20 km per hourhave recorded a decrease rate by13% where the violations numberreached to 147,738 violations compared to 2012 which the number was 167,384 violations. The violations that exceeded the speed limit of no more than 50 km per hour have recorded a rising rate by 19% where the number of violations reached to 275,681 violations while during 2012, the number was about 222,756 violations.

The violations that exceeded the speed limit of no more than 60 km per hour reached to about 92,644 violations with arising rate of 14% where this number in 2012 was 79,558 violations. The other speeds violations which are for more than 60 kilometers per hour recorded arising rate of 2% where the number this year is 50,611 violations while in 2012, this number was 49,558.
