Whether you are driving every day or sometimes, you can reduce the amount of fuel consumed by knowing some simple steps that will help you to reduce the fuel amount you are using as much as possible. The driving style of the person behind the wheel is the single and most important factor in determining fuel consumption. The driver who has the awareness of economic provision can save up to 30 – 50 percent of fuel that other drivers are consuming. You can also improve the efficiency of your car by following these simple instructions:

–         Always think about the fuel economy while driving.

–         Always do your best for the fuel consumptioneconomy.

–         Avoid driving when you are angry or upset.

–         Use the public transportation whenever possible.

–         Warm-up the engine of your car for 30 seconds.

–         Do not let your engine without transmission for more than 30 seconds after you start it because the warm-up process of the engine is much faster while driving.

–         Leaving the engine without any transmission for more than 30 seconds is not only a consumption of fuel but also it harms the engine because the amount of oil being pumped to various parts of the engine without any movement became at the lowest level and this is very dangerous on the engine and its parts.

–         Do not increase the speed of the engine before you stop because this process leads to a rejection of raw fuel on the walls of the cylinder and get rid of the oils in the cylinder where these oils guarantee that the cylinders will not be exposed to any friction in the next engine starting-up operation which increases the engine’s erosion. Also, this process increases the fuel consumption as well.

–         Acceleration or quick launch increases the fuel consumption equivalent to one kilometer per liter while driving in the city.

–         Suppose yourself a speed not exceeding 80 km / h with according to the specified speed on the road of course.

–         Driving with speeds less than the allowable limits on highways helps increase the fuel economy.

–         Try to shift between speeds quickly because any delay increases the fuel consumption.

–         Keep the level of speed above 35 km / h as much as possible.

–         The vehicle needs to reach a distanceof25 kilometers to achieve the desired efficiency in fuel consumption.

–         Turning on the air conditioner inside the city reduces the fuel economy by up to 9 percent.
