Kia Company has changed radically and moved to higher stages in the manufacture of cars. Over the past months, Kia has launched some new cars. The Kia Cerato 2014 has been tested in Dubai at the launch ceremony for the Middle East market. The ceremony was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in the city of Dubai and the managers of Kia in Korea and the Middle East introduced a presentation which included a huge number of Cerato cars. There were 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter engines.
Kia has developed and enhanced the car more than before which allow the car to be the best for the engine performance, noise, fuel consumption, smoothness and driving comfort. Interior design has become European style and manufactured materials for the steering wheel, cushions and counters made of leather are fantastic. The rest of the interior and the center console are made of plastic.
The highest category of the car has many techniques and specifications that beat cars from the same category and more expensive. This car includes a high-tech audio system with 6 speakers, a color screen of 4.3-inch, AUX and USB ports and Bluetooth for the phone calls. There are three types of steering wheel positions from “comfort” to “sport” position with an electric seat with ten adjustments for the driver. Also, the car includes a fridge and back conditioning vents. The safety features include front and rear sensors, traction control, stability control, 6 airbags and a smart key to enter the car with a push button to start the engine.
The interior space is large and there are front leather seats with the cooling driver capability. The rear space is excellent but it is a little tight for long-tall people. The car provides rear conditioning vents which is a feature that doesn’t exist in most cars with the same size. The Cerato comes with an essential engine of 1.6 liter with 4-cylinder that generates 128 horsepower and connected with a front push through a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission. The car reaches 100 km / h in 12.6 seconds with the automatic transmission and 11.6 seconds with the normal transmission. The fuel consumption is about 7.4 liters / 100 km with the automatic transmission and 6.8 liters / 100 km with the manual transmission.
Kia is preparing for a fierce competition in the small car classes with the new Cerato that has a fabulous design, interior technologies which is not available in the cars in the same class, good stability control, good engine response especially with the 2.0-liter engine and low fuel consumption. With these specifications, the Kia Cerato 2014 constitutes a risk for the large companies in this car category.
