Record numbers in the wireless auto Liwa Festival competition

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region and with the organization of Western Sports Club kicked off the 2014 Liwa International Festival in the presence of a large crowd and various international posts to ascend the podium in various competitions included in the festival.
And the first day of competition in the wireless automotive contest “Remote Control” saw exciting and rivalry among the contestants before the “Formula Emirates” team resolve the competition to his side and get the first places in both competition categories whether gasoline engines class or electric engines class. Results also seen smashing the previous records registered in the last tournament when Arif Zarooni from the Emirates Formula team recorded a new number in the gasoline category cars when he managed to rise clocked estimated hill of 60 meters during a terrifying time of 3.568 seconds while Mansour Salem Sowaidan from the Emirates Formula team recorded a new number with his name when he managed to rise terrifying hill during a time of 3.538 seconds to seal the first places for the Emirates Formula team.
The “Remote Control” competitions results in the gasoline category announced the victory of Arif Zarooni with the first place by a time of 3.586 seconds and his team controlled the top five positions, in second place Nabil Al Zarooni came with a time of 3.607 seconds, in third place Mansour Salim Swedan came with a time of 3.608 seconds, in fourth place Abdul Rahim Al Zarooni came with a time of 3.640 seconds and in fifth place Nasser Ali Al Balushi came with a time of 3.713 seconds.
In the electric engines category, Mansour Salim Swedan with able to rise the hill with a time of 3.538 seconds, in second place Ali Rajab Al Hosni from the “RC Power” team came with a time of 3.606 seconds, in third place Rashid Obaid Al Muhairi from the Bo Fatima team came with a time  of 3.632 seconds, in the fourth place Jassim Mohammed Ali from the “RC Power” team came with a time of 3.681 seconds, in fifth place Mohammed Khalifa Al Shamsi from the “RC Power” team came with a time of 3.686 seconds.
The festival activities have launched in the middle of many international participation and strong competition from the contestants plus a huge fans follow-up. Regulatory preparations attracted thousands of challenge and adventure sport fans as well as traditional sports that are characterized by the UAE.
The first day witnessed the launch of the classic and modified cars show and the last ancient and modern police cars which won the admiration of the audience who was keen to follow the event’s start.
