Exciting results in the UAE desert rally championship

Khaled Aljafla, Ross Ronals and Mohammed Al Shamsi are the champions of the second round in the UAE desert rally championship. In the second round of the tournament which is consisting of four rounds, Ahmad Almacode was able to take the first position from all the racers in “cars” and “baggy” categories with his “Polaris R ZRXP” car while the Emirati Mohammed Al Shamsi took the lead in quad bikes “Quads” and he shared the first place with Sebastian Hosseini.
In the second round races of the tournament which witnessed the participation of 88 contestants in the four tournament categories, Almacode managed of achieving the second place in the categories of “cars” and “baggy” after two hours of intense competition in the rally which was held near the Allesly area. The first place in the two categories went to Khalid Aljafla who is taking part in the championship with “Polaris 2012 XP” car which was able to progress 1 minute and 44.309 fraction of a second ahead in the race which saw the six laps on the desert track with a length of 20 km.
Ahmad Alfahim who is taking part behind the wheel of “Polaris RZ” car took the third place while finished fourth the young Emirati Mansour Blhli with his “Nissan Patrol” and he also made a progress in the “T-2” category to take the second place in the overall standings of cars. In the intense competition of motorcycles category, Ross Ronals managed to achieve the fastest time on board his “Kawasaki KXF 450” bike and finished the round 3 minutes and 16.482 seconds ahead from Sean Gogain which despite he achieved the ​​second place, he still in top of the general standings of the motorcycles in the desert championship.
The cyclist “Mark gram” on his “Honda CR 250R” achieved the third place in the bikes category to retain his second position in the general ranking while the cyclist “Sam Sunderland” which was just around the corner from scoring “Abu Dhabi Desert Rally” title in it’s past tour is looking forward to provide a stronger performance in the second half of the season. After he missed out the first round of the tournament last month, Sunderland managed to take the lead in the end of the first lap but he went out of the competition after his bike carried out his from the fuel so he ended the round in fifth place and his general ranking became outside the top ten.
It is scheduled to hold the two remaining rounds in the January 31 and February 14 and 15 respectively in different parts of the UAE desert. The two rounds form a preliminary test for the Abu Dhabi Desert Rally which will be in the upcoming April.
