Italian sports car constructor in Abu Dhabi, Lamborghini has unbiased exposed its modern car, the Veneno Roadster at a ritual held on boarding an Italian boat that is presently stopped in the region of Abu Dhabi.
By means of its power which is around around 750 horsepower, and 12-cylinder machine, the car can go from 0 – 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, and impacts on a supreme speediness of 350 km/h. The car, which is completely complete of carbon fiber, transports a worth label of 3.3 million euros which is approximately (Dh16.5 million) not including taxes, making it the furthermost exclusive sports car in the world. It is also a four-wheel determination with contesting framework, and pushrod postponement.
“What makes the car so special are the horsepower, and for sure the design, which is the first thing you will see and it still [has] the Lamborghini feeling but more extreme. Even if you can say that a lot of Lamborghinis get inspiration from motorsports, this car is a step ahead,” said Christian Mastro, General Manager of Automobili Lamborghini in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Mastro added that there are no plans to introduce more Roadster cars into the market, as the company wants to keep the design exclusive for a few customers.
There have already been orders on the car, and indeed, 50 per cent of the nine cars have been sold worldwide. Lamborghini is still in negotiations with the customers to customise the car to their preference.
As for the clientele, Mastro said it was mostly collectors.
“We approached our best customers first. Normally, this is what we do. We approach the collectors we have on our database and then the dealers of course know the customers who would like to buy this kind of car,” he said.
The Veneno Roadster will remain on display in Abu Dhabi for the next few days, but is not up to sale. The UAE is currently the third largest market of Lamborghinis.
