- Motorists must not cover front and back license plates of a vehicle with any decorating material. Motorists will face a fine of AED 400 for committing this violation.

Other Traffic Violations that Motorists Must Avoid
The National Day will fall on Sunday, which means it will be a four-day long weekend for people in the UAE. In view of an expected increase in traffic volume, authorities have finalized their plans to maintain a smooth flow of traffic.

- Playing loud music in vehicles will result in AED 400 fine and four black points.
- Motorists will face a fine of AED 400 for blocking traffic.
- Throwing garbage from the vehicle will levy a fine of AED 1,000 and six black points will be issues against the motorist’s driving license.
