The 2018 XC40 is built on the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA), a flexible platform developed by Volvo to be used in the construction of relatively smaller vehicles in their lineup. An all-wheel drive sub-compact SUV, the 2018 Volvo XC40 is a powerful vehicle that delivers the performance it promises.

At the heart of this SUV is a 2.0-litre inline 4-Cylinder turbocharged engine that is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and is capable of producing 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The 2018 Volvo XC40 has an estimated fuel efficiency of 23mpg in the city, 31mpg on the highway and 26mpg combined. As for acceleration, the all-new XC40 promises to deliver quick acceleration and can go from 0 to 100 Km/h in just 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 230 Km/h.
