How Over-speeding on the way to Jebel Jais can be seriously dangerous?
Speeding above the maximum speed limit of a road can be a dangerous driving mistake. Speed limit for a road is designed after a study of many fundamental factors such as traffic load on a specific road, the road type and its dimensions and the number of speeding violations recorded on a road in a particular time frame.
When it comes to a tourist location such as Jebel Jais, the roads are already crowded on weekends and public holidays and a speeding motorist can create a massive chaos by causing serious disruption in the flow of traffic. Pileup collisions that refer to multiple vehicles ramming into each other become a possibility and this is something motorists should look to avoid, especially when they are on a recreational journey and looking to have a quality time with their family and friends outside their busy routines.
Speeding is also dangerous because a speeding motorist can also commit many other dangerous mistakes such as poor lane changing, tailgating and driving on the hard shoulder. All of these driving mistakes have been amongst the major reasons behind many road deaths in the UAE over the last few years. Therefore, recognizing the dangerous impact of speeding and adopting safe driving practices to consciously avoid speeding violations becomes extremely important.
