Exterior
The 2018 Audi A8 has an aggressive exterior that looks gorgeous and sporty at the same time. Even though the exterior has been completely redesigned, the designers at Audi have ensured that the A8 retains the signature design elements. One such design element is the signature Singleframe Grille at the front that harmoniously blends in with the muscular appeal of the vehicle.
The front fascia has been redesigned to become more dynamic with sharper lines and curvy contours that help in making the grille standout even more. At the sides of the wider grille are larger air intakes that help in improving the engine cooling function. The grille and air intakes have chrome accents and chrome bars to add to the sporty appeal of the vehicle.
The brand new LED headlight design features central LED strips that standout and make the design more modern. The all-new Audi A8 has a muscular hood that features two sharp lines coming from the grille and moving fluidly towards the windshield while two more lines can be seen beginning from the headlights and moving all the way back to the taillights.
The front fenders are also contoured for a sporty and agile stance that fits well with the overall appeal of the vehicle. The beltline has been deepened for a more aggressive look while a line of chrome has been added below the beltline to add to the premium appeal of the vehicle. More chrome accents can be found around the windows, tailgate and lower bumper.
The rear has been redesigned as well with a new design for taillights that has a thicker chrome strip connecting one taillight with the other. The exhaust outlets have been integrated into the lower bumper and blend in well with the chrome accents.
The exterior of the 2018 Audi A8 is available in 9 colors that include Terra Gray, Navarra Blue, Mythos Black, Monson Gray, Glacier White, Vesuvius Gray, Seville Red, Moonlight Blue and Florett Silver.

Interior
The interior of the 2018 Audi A8 has been designed to make the occupants feel at home. A lot has been changed in the cabin of the 2018 Audi A8 to make it appear fresh and elegant while maintaining the luxurious Audi feel at the same time. The changes begin from the front of the cabin where the dashboard has been completely revamped. In place of the buttons and toggles, there is a brand new 10.1-inch infotainment display touchscreen.
The center console has been widened to accommodate and complement the new touchscreen and make the cabin appear more driver-centric. In front of the driver is a new leather-wrapped steering wheel with two spokes to offer a very unique look.

The rear passengers in the 2018 Audi A8 have their own entertainment system with two removable screens.

Performance of the 2018 Audi A8
Many performance upgrades have been introduced in the 2018 Audi A8, one of these upgrades is the multi-material space frame concept of the vehicle that makes the carriage of the vehicle the lightest in its class. To further improve the performance of the vehicle, the 2018 Audi A8 has one-third greater stiffness for increased driving comfort and improved agility.
As for the powertrain, the 2018 Audi A8 is available with a turbocharged V6 engine and will soon be available with a turbocharged V8 engine as well. Both engine options are paired with an 8-speed tiptronic automatic transmission and feature Quattro Permanent All-wheel Drive System.
At the moment, the 2018 Audi A8 is available with 3.0-litre Turbocharged V6 engine with Direct Fuel Injection System. This turbocharged V6 engine is capable of producing 340 horsepower and 500Nm of torque. The all-new A8 has a top speed of 250 Km/h and it can go from 0 to 100 Km/h in just 5.6 seconds.
Although Audi has not announced when it will make the V8 engine available, but they have revealed the specifications of this engine. The second engine option will be a 4.0-litre Turbocharged V8 engine with Direct Fuel Injection System that is capable of producing 460 horsepower and 660Nm of torque. The V8 engine will allow the A8 to have a top speed of 250 Km/h and it will be able to go from 0 to 100 Km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
