Dubai Police Expands its Service to Report Minor Accidents at Enoc Petrol Stations

Dubai Police has expanded the scope of their service for motorists to report a minor road accident at a nearby Enoc petrol station. Motorists can now report a minor road accident at one of the ten selected Enoc petrol stations instead of going to the Police station where they may have to wait in long queues to report an accident. Dubai Police has trained Enoc employees to assist motorists in registering the report for a minor accident at selected petrol stations.

Details of the New Initiative by Dubai Police

Dubai Police started its unique initiative of reporting a minor road accident at Enoc petrol stations in August last year. At that time, only three petrol stations were selected after Dubai Police observed an increase in minor road accidents on the adjoining areas where these petrol stations were located.

In the first phase, 18 Enoc employees were trained to register the reports of minor accidents. Following the success of this initiative, Dubai Police has now extended the scope of this helpful service for motorists. In the second phase of this initiative, the number of petrol stations has been increased from 3 to 10 and 40 more Enoc employees have been trained to facilitate motorists in registering their reports for minor road accidents.

Official Statement about the Expansion of the New Service

Brigadier Saeed Hamad Bin Sulaiman, the Director of Al Rashidiya Police Station, said that the initiative to help motorists report a minor accident at petrol stations was launched last year and the satisfying results have urged the authorities to expand the scope of this initiative. He added that the expansion of the initiative was based on the study of multiple roads where minor accidents were recorded frequently. Dubai Police will now offer service to report a minor accident at 10 Enoc petrol stations located across the emirate, which will save motorists from the misery of waiting in long queues at police stations to register their reports for minor accidents.

Petrol Stations Where Motorists Can Report a Minor Accident

Reporting a minor accident at a nearby petrol station gives motorists a chance to report a minor accident quickly and easily. Reporting a minor accident at a police station can actually take more than an hour, whereas reporting at a nearby Enoc petrol station is less time taking and can be done in a matter of few minutes with the support of trained Enoc employees.

Listed below are the locations of 10 Enoc petrol stations where motorists can report a minor accident in Dubai:

  • Tripoli Street
  • Mohammad Bin Zayed Road
  • Bypass Road Station on Mohammad Bin Zayed Road
  • Al Rasheed Street Near Abu Hail Clinic
  • Al Mezher Area Near the Market
  • Arabian Ranches Exit 311
  • Al Khail Road in Al Quoz 2 on exit 44
  • Al Khail Road in Al Barsha Area near Barsha Police Station
  • Oud Metha Road near Al Wasl Club
  • Jebel Ali Free Zone Roundabout 13

After the start of this new initiative in August last year, Dubai Police registered 2,360 minor accident reports at the three selected Enoc petrol stations, which highlights the success achieved by this unique initiative by Dubai Police.
