RTA in Dubai is known for its state of the art initiatives for motorists. In order to acknowledge the public demand for fancy car number plates, RTA Dubai has announced the dates for it 45th online auction for number plates. The bidding for the auction will start at 8:00 AM on January 22 and last for five days.

What to look out for in the RTA’s 45th Online Auction
There is much to look out for in the 45th online auction, starting from January 22. According to the RTA sources, 300 unique car number plates will be auctioned online. The number plates will consist of 3, 4, and 5 digits and have different codes: G, H, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R and S. Other than these number plates, 3 number plates for classic cars and 10 motorcycle number plates will also be available for bidding.

The best method is to go to RTA’s website (www.rta.ae) and get registered through your existing username and password or by signup as a new user for registration.
Criteria for Registration
As per the RTA’s instructions, the bidder’s vehicle must be registered in Dubai or the bidder must have a registered Dubai License. The bidders also need to pay a refundable security deposit of Dh5,000 to RTA in cash or through credit card before the start of the auction in order to take part in the auction.
