This ratio of increased sales is expected to accelerate in future with Porsche’s new arrival of Macan SUV at Los Angeles Motor-Show, whilst there is a continuous sales increase (similar to a runaway train) in the revenues of Cayenne.
The Africa and Middle East regions’ Porsche Managing Director, Christer Ekberg, explains the Macan like the “game-changer”, whilst there should not be an underestimation of Cayenne standard values. The Cayenne is one of the topnotch sales vehicles accounting for 62% revenues, which determines the incredibility and significance of this model. Ekberg claimed that the people would have indeed not entered in the emerged marketplaces without Cayenne’s brand.

In 2013, the 911 had celebrated 50th anniversary while representing the brand at the auto-event. The other new brands include the race track-ready 911 GT3 and the 911 Turbo, which took their bow ever within the Middle East. “The order books are full for both vehicles. We are selling everything we can get allocation for,” says Ekberg. To celebrate five decades of the iconic sports car, Porsche has created the most complete 911 to date – the 911 Turbo Coupe, tracing its roots back 40 years since its first appearance as a concept car in 1973.
