New petrol and diesel prices have been announced by the Ministry of Energy in the UAE for the month of October. A slight increase has been observed in the prices of both petrol and diesel, unlike the last month when the hike was made only to the petrol prices and the diesel prices decreased. Fuel prices have mostly increased in the year 2016 which has certainly added the pressure on motorists to manage their fuel expenses.

New Fuel Prices for the Month of October

The new fuel prices in the UAE have been revealed and their implementation will be from the 1st of October 2016. According to the new prices, the Special RON 95 will cost motorists Dh1.70 per litre which marks an increase of 3.6% from the last month. The Super RON 98 will be available at Dh1.81 per litre showing a hike of 3.4% from the last month. The E-Plus RON 91 will be priced at Dh1.63 per litre and is increased by 3.6% from the last month. The Diesel price has also been increased and the new diesel price for the month of October will be Dh1.76 per litre. In September, the diesel price was Dh1.72 per litre.
