RTA in Dubai has offered a new initiative for residents to get the five digital car number plates which signify the most special day in their lives. You can now have a car number plate matching your birthday or that of your loved one, your first employment date, the date of your anniversary or the date of your first child’s birth. It is certainly a delight to have a number plate on your car that recalls you the most important day of your life. The initiative is welcomed by the residents of Dubai as it gets their emotions attached to their car in a more reflective way.
What Triggered this Move
The RTA’s new initiative to offer the new car number plates is the part of their collective efforts to deliver the people in Dubai, the high class and supreme transport services for their best comfort and happiness. It gives them a chance to have the date of their choice imprinted on the car number plate as the registration number of the car. This five digit number gets completed with the day, month and year mentioned in numbers.
Who is entitled to buy the New Dedicated Number Plates
These new number plates are not for everyone in Dubai. The RTA Dubai has launched this initiative especially for the youth aged between 18-35 years (those who were born between 1981 and 1998). The Director of the Vehicles Licensing RTA’s License Agency, Sultan Al Marzouki suggested that these number plates are specially brought about for the youth in Dubai as they are the most passionate and lively in their events of life and the new number plates entirely complement their nature.
Price of the Number Plates
Sultan Al Marzouki told that the number plates with the S-Code will be available at all service centers of the RTA, strategic partners and Service Providers at the price of Dh1, 620. The interested customers can also buy it from the RTA’s website (www.rta.ae) or the smart apps for drivers/vehicles subjected to the availability of these plates.
