It all panned out when the news came to the scene that an anonymous buyer had bought a 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti at an auction recently held in Paris. The buyer bought it in €32 Million which made it the most expensive car in the world. The auction of the car started at the base price of €20 Million and finally sold at €32 Million.

Alessandro Proto, the owner of the Proto Organization has reportedly claimed that he has sold the car to none other than Lionel Messi. The organization also told the Media that Cristiano Ronaldo was also an interested buyer.

The reports don’t have any confirmation as yet to prove that Lionel Messi is the buyer of the car and Messi himself seems to be denying it with a funny post on Instagram. Add to the confusion further, the reports from CNBC in the US claim an Ohio Businessman to be the owner of the car. The report says that the Businessman Brain Ross was the successful bidder at the auction and that he was the one who bought it eventually at 32 Million Euros.
