The Tesla Model S new OS Upgrade is Brilliant

 Did you see the interesting tweet about the Tesla Model S from Elon Musk, head of the Californian motor company? Well if you didn’t, he tweeted that he would be curing range anxiety with this particular model and now you are wondering what he meant. You can be however sure that this piece of news will definitely improve car rating for the automaker.

The Tesla Model S will be receiving an over-the-air upgrade of its operating system to the new 6.2 version with the highlight being the navigation feature that  gives you an idea of how much longer your battery will last. Another anticipated update feature is a sat-nav aspect in the Tesla’s network of superchargers allowing you to recharge the battery in case you are running low.

The updated system will also give the Tesla Model S a blind-spot traffic warning to keep you safe on the road; an upgraded code will ensure that you get better radio reception and one unique feature will be the availability of a valet mode that automatically limits the torque, throttle and access to the car owner’s data thus improving on safety.

According to Musk, a full release on the over-the-air operating system upgrade is expected within days meaning the functionality of the car will receive a major boost which happens to be very good news to the current owners.  Other news from Tesla include a version 7.0 of the OS which is said to be headed towards a complete user interface redesign and automatic steering on highways.

Model S is Tesla’s latest release with a dual motor producing 691hp which is a newer version of the P85 with two electric motors and produces 420hp. Model S does a 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds a battery run will go up to 312 miles.
