VW Group is set to unveil the Bugatti Chiron that is likely to be the fastest supercar in the world. It will be available with a hybrid powertrain on top of a regular powertrain with a gasoline engine. It’s a hybrid version of the Bugatti Veyron that is currently considered the fastest among the cars. The Chiron will improve performance with a reduced consumption which is not the driving force behind adding batteries and electric propulsion system to the W16–powered Veyron successor. The Bugatti Chiron is expected to make at least 1360 horsepower, but even more is possible with the advancement in technology and the great engineers of the hybrid car.

The Chiron variant will join the sold-out Porsche 918 Spyder, the Ferrari LA Ferrari, and the McLaren P1among this era’s hybridized hyper car crowd. These great hybrid cars attain good positions on the list of the car assessment in the aspects of high speed, performance, safety and good looks since they are improvements of the ordinary cars on car market however they come at a relatively higher price due to the modifications.

As for what else is shaking at Bugatti, the ultra-powerful high-performance sedan is not yet certain after the design department was unable to provide an appealingly pleasing solution to packaging a front-mounted W16 engine that is to be fitted in the supercar. However, the project is not entirely dead because the Bugatti CEO hinted that the car could be revisited down the road. VW Group for over years now has been made its name in producing super-fast cars that out compete all other cars in the world.
