Cadillac CTS Discontinued in 2015

When a household name in the automotive industry embarks on an ad campaign prior to the release of a new model from their stable, there is frenzy in the market as potential clients await the release of the said model but this soon falls away with time.

At the introduction of the CTS in the sedan segment by General Motors’ Cadillac division back in 2003, the car was quickly snapped up by the car market. Fast forward a decade later, the elegant sedans are collecting films upon films of dust in the factories and assembly plants across the US.

Contrary to the trend of the expanding luxury car market which grew by 6 per cent, GM’s Cadillac went against the tide and declined in sales by about 2 per cent. When it comes to the CTS, sales are abysmal falling 29 per cent in the fiscal year ending July 2014. This has led to the halting of production of the model at the company’s Lansing Grand River Assembly plant.

Still holding onto that Cadillac CTS? It is high time you sell before its value is driven into the ground.
