Ford Edge 2015 gets a total revamp

The 2015 Ford Edge, which is in its second generation this year has received a fresh design making it little bigger than the 1st generation but equally appealing. The five passenger mid-size SUV now has new turbocharged engines options and is quite spacious with high level interiors. With this new look, the new Ford is in a perfect place to step up in the competition which includes Nissan Murano, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Toyota Venza.

What Stands out in the Ford Edge 2015

The 2015 model is now available in SE, SEL, Titanium and Sport trims. The basic features for the basic SE include keyless entry, rear view camera, fabric seats, 18-inch wheels, 6-speaker infotainment system. The SEL adds a push button start and a satellite radio while the Titanium and Sport trims feature Sony premium audio system, my Ford Touch infotainment and leather heated front seats. Some of the optional features in the top trims include All-Wheel Drive (AWD), blind sport monitoring, park assist system, forward-collision, lane departure warning system and rear seat entertainment system.

The 2015 Ford Engine is available in three engine options; a 2.0-liter EcoBost turbocharged 4-cylinder available in the SE, SEL AND Titanium trims with FWD and AWD options. The second engine is 3.5-liter V6 engine optionally available in the same 3 trims. The top trim Sport Model offer a new 2.7-liter EcoBoost turbocharged V6.
