Rolls-Royce has announced plans to introduce a Sports Utility Vehicle to meet the needs of their luxury high end clientele. With Car buying and selling becoming super competitive in the industry, car makers are left with little choice other than adjust their production to meet the needs of their potential clientele. Rolls-Royce’s announcement comes just as their Volkswagen owned rival, Bentley, launched the production of their premier SUV, the Bentayga.

The mix between luxury and flexibility will see the BMW-owned luxury auto produce an SUV suitable for any terrain without compromising on the associated brand comforts. According to the company, this one will feature an all new aluminium architecture, yet it will be as high bodied as expected. Car assessment experts see this as a way of meeting the market demand, diversifying as well as keeping up with the competition.

The 111 year old brand has not divulged further details regarding the timelines or even the production plan but the CEO, Torsten Muller-Otvos is upbeat about the development. Currently, the company has been making three cars; Phantom. Ghost and Wraith and has made a progressive journey in the automotive export as well as local sales.
